Liverpool are unlikely to go after Paris Saint-Germain sensation Bradley Barcola this summer, despite reports in France claiming that the Reds have reignited their interest in the French forward. Following Luis Diaz's departure, the Premier League champions have been linked with signing a new left-sided winger, but cold water has been poured on those rumours.

Earlier on Wednesday, reported that Liverpool are back in the race to sign 22-year-old wide man Barcola this summer, as they continue to face difficulties in their pursuit of Alexander Isak. They have already seen their first bid for the Newcastle star rejected and were said to have now shifted their focus to Barcola and Real Madrid's Rodrygo.

, however, claims that the Reds are not considering a move for Barcola at the moment, as his arrival at Anfield would affect the progress of youth product Rio Ngumoha. The 16-year-old wonderkid has been impressive in the club's pre-season friendlies and the champions' primary focus is to oversee the growth of the teenager as a player under Arne Slot's tutelage.
