da marjack bet： West Ham United fans have reacted positively to confirmation that Goncalo Cardoso has joined the club from Boavista.
The Hammers confirmed on Tuesday that they had completed the signing of the central defender prior to Thursday’s transfer deadline.
He has signed a five-year contract with the Irons holding the option to extend it by a further year.
A Portugal youth international, the 18-year-old has won 11 caps for the Under-19s and made a total of 18 appearances for the Portuguese club.
The club claim to have beaten “a number of top European clubs” to Cardoso’s signature and supporters are pleased to see the club’s squad further strengthened ahead of the beginning of the 2019/20 season – West Ham play Manchester City at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Indeed, the Hammers have already signed Pablo Fornals from Villarreal this summer and have also broken the club’s transfer record to bring in Sebastian Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt.
