Having been beaten 3-0 by PSG in their opening Champions League game of the season earlier in the week, Real got back on track against a difficult opponent on Sunday.
Of course, Karim Benzema played a major part in the victory, scoring the winning goal at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium. That was, in fact, his fifth goal in a total of five appearances for the Whites in the 2019/20 La Liga campaign.

By all standards, the French star is having quite a season so far.
And fans were quick to recognise it and shower him with all sorts of praise on social media and Twitter.
After the game, they swarmed Real Madrid’s post to gush over Benzema’s performance. Some called him the best striker in the world and one fan even stated that he is saving Zidane’s job at the moment.
