da realbet: Marcelo Bielsa isn’t like most football managers.
da imperador bet: While teams around the country close down their training grounds and players go into self-isolation, the Argentine and his side are ploughing on as normal, heading to Thorp Arch and working to make sure they’re the best they can possibly be.
Whether or not this is the right call in the current climate is certainly debatable, but there are two players who could certainly benefit from the imposed break.

Indeed, Ian Poveda and Jean-Kevin Augustin could see their chances of appearing in the first-team improve over the next few weeks.
£10.8m-rated Augustin has played just 49 minutes since joining Leeds despite coming in with quite a lot of pedigree having played for PSG, RB Leipzig and AS Monaco.
Bielsa has stated on numerous occasions that his lack of involvement is down to his fitness level, but with at least a couple of weeks between now and Leeds’ potential next game, he has a real chance to work on that area of his game.
It’s a similar story for £675k-rated Poveda – he’s come in and despite earning rave reviews from Stuart Dallas he hasn’t been given a sniff of a chance, making the bench just twice since joining from Manchester City.
Dallas has suggested that he has been very impressed with Poveda in training, and with no first-team fixtures to focus on over the next few weeks, the 20-year-old can work towards making an impression in front of Bielsa in these training sessions.
The decision to carry on as normal throughout this period is a tough call to make, and while some players were reportedly stunned by the gaffer’s decision, others should be seeing this as a real opportunity to prove themselves to the manager during a time where he can have a thorough think about what his best XI is.
In other news, Leeds’ summer priority should be clear.
