Carroll, who re-joined the Magpies on a free transfer earlier this month, has not played this season due to an ankle problem.
Lejeune, meanwhile, has been on the sidelines since April after picking up a serious knee injury.

Both have returned to the training field, though, suggesting that the pair are not too far away from featuring despite not yet taking part in the full sessions with their teammates.
It has not exactly been the most ideal of starts to the 2019-20 campaign with defeats to Arsenal and Norwich City leaving the club in the relegation zone.
And it does not get any easier in terms of matches as they prepare to head to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
