da bet nacional: Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Kieran Trippier to Juventus, according to The Telegraph.
What’s the story?
The paper reckon that new Juve boss Maurizio Sarri has made the player his number one choice to replace Joao Cancelo.
Trippier is one of the players that Spurs are now willing to sell as Mauricio Pochettino looks to invest heavily in his first-team squad after transfer inactivity over the last 12 months, states the report.
The outlet say that Spurs are now braced for a bid from Italy and will sell the England international for a fee of around £25m.

Why are Spurs selling?
Trippier has been a regular in Pochettino’s Spurs side for two seasons now, making 73 appearances in that time, but failed to follow up his 2017/18 campaign with as impressive form last term.
He was a notable weak point for Spurs last season and with emerging talents such as Kyle Walker-Peters coming through, it feels like a natural time to say goodbye to the 28-year-old.
A stand-out for England during last summer’s World Cup, his Premier League form was considered so poor that he dropped out of Gareth Southgate’s starting XI and eventually out of the squad altogether.
His sale will allow the Spurs recruitment team to bring in the fresh talent that Pochettino needs to rebuild his Spurs squad, even if they have to enter the market for a right-back replacement.
The Telegraph report that Tanguy Ndombele, Nicolo Zaniolo, Donny van de Beek and Ryan Sessegnon are all targets during this summer’s window, so money will need to be generated to deliver what the club want.
