The Blues are in talks with the Spanish side over a deal worth between €20 million (£17m/$22m) and €25m (£21m/$27m) for the 22-year-old, according to The Swedish-born shot-stopper has a release clause worth €45m (£38m/$49m) in his contract.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City were all linked with Jorgensen in April, while Marseille were also interested in signing the custodian, who came through Villarreal's youth academy after joining from Mallorca at the age of 13. However, Chelsea seem to have taken the lead in the race to sign him as they look to bring in a new goalkeeper to compete with Robert Sanchez for the No.1 spot.
