da imperador bet: As the England midfielder continues his path back to fitness, recent reports suggest that Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal career could soon be coming to a surprise abrupt end. The form of Arsene Wenger’s other midfield dynamos, coupled with several minor off-field ‘incidents’ the Gunners graduate has been involved in, could mean that now is the time for Wilshere to call time on his dream role at the Emirates.
da bet7k: The 23-year-old simply hasn’t matched the expectations that he first set when he initially broke onto the scene. Because injuries have so far been the defining aspect of the no. 10’s career, setting a consistent level of performance has been a tough task for Wilshere, both in the Premier League and Champions League, as well as internationally.
Within the sensation of such reports, should these stories be dismissed as Wilshere continues his progress as an Arsenal player, or is there a little more to these notions than initially meets the eye?
Regardless of where you stand on his supposed smoking habits off the pitch, the young Arsenal star can undoubtedly be a great player on it. Wilshere has the ability to drift past the opposition, look unbelievably calm on the ball, and pop up at just the right moment when his team need him to finish the job in front of goal. His link-up play in the lead up to Arsenal’s sublime team effort against Norwich last season acts as a fine example of his talents, and will see Jack Wilshere forever remembered in fans’ minds.

Despite his strong credentials, delivering these results on a consistent match-to-match basis hasn’t been an easy task for the unpredictable England midfielder. The combination of his injuries, which some have even said to be coming far too frequently to avoid suspicion, his off-field antics, and his sometimes lack of control when things aren’t going well, have led to a clear roadblock in Wilshere’s career. Whether it be through his own fault or because of external circumstances, the young star just hasn’t made a great deal of progress, and hasn’t matched the hype that his arrival initially set.
Having said that, the potentially invaluable star is still only 23, and still has a great deal of time to tighten up his game and develop into the player we all know he can be. Arsenal however, simply may not be the ultimate destination in which Wilshere sees out this proposed development.
Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool, with their increased spending habits since the sale of Luis Suarez, have emerged as apparent front runners in the race to land the Arsenal talent, even if his pricetag is expected to be in the region of £25million. The no. 10 would definitely fit in with the style of football the Reds have tried to produce in recent years, but for the fact that Liverpool have already paid a similar amount for another composed England midfielder, this time Adam Lallana, would Anfield really suit Jack Wilshere in the next stage of his career?
Perhaps a surprise move to West Ham, the club in which Wilshere has publically stated a soft-spot for since he was young, could in-fact be the ideal move for the faltering England man. If he can stay rid of the injuries that have so far plagued his brief career, Big Sam could definitely find a use of the Arsenal star, who alongside the likes of Mark Noble and potentially Alex Song, could see West Ham turn into the full force that they have already flirted with becoming this season. Sourcing the funds for such a deal would be very unlikely on West Ham’s part however.
While such a move would certainly appeal to fans of the Premier League and their love for sensational transfers, the likelihood in Wilshere actually leaving the Gunners in the near future remains low. He can still certainly do a job for Arsene Wenger, and alongside the technical talents of Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil, Arsenal would seemingly be the perfect place for Wilshere to remain. As nothing has been plain sailing for the England international so far however, perhaps time will simply have to tell on this one.
