da stake casino: As reported by The Daily Mail, Hull City are interested in bringing Genk winger Leon Bailey to the Premier League this January.
What’s the word?
da bet7k: The Mail report that although Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton are all interested, Hull could be the unlikely destination for the 19 year old.
Marco Silva is said to be very keen on bringing the winger to the Tigers and are willing to pay over £10m to get him. Hull’s interest is said to be so significant that they’ve prepared a package to sign him ahead of the January transfer window closing.
That may not be enough though with Genk valuing their man closer to £20m, according to the paper.
Who is he?
Leon Bailey has been one of the standout performers in the UEFA Europa League this season, scoring four goals in six group stage appearances and help his Genk side reach the top of Group F ahead of La Liga and Serie A clubs.
It’s that form that’s attracted interest from clubs all over Europe. Despite showing the inconsistency of use in league action, scoring just 2 goals across the league campaign, the fact he turns it on when his club are on the big stage will no doubt be impressive to Premier League sides.
It’s no surprise then he’s attracting interest. At just 19 he has plenty of time to develop and given his progress so far, you could well imagine him fitting in well to Chelsea’s and Liverpool’s free-flowing wide attacking game or significantly enhancing the Hull City first team.
Only Middlesbrough have scored less goals that Silva’s side this season and they could badly do with some creativity in the final third. A signing like Bailey could be a huge boost to their chances of not dropping down into the Championship.
