da dobrowin: The Dutchman has struggled to make an impact for the Merseyside outfit following his summer move from Ajax, with expectations high after he scored 20 goals and provided a further 12 assists for the Dutch giants last term.
The 24-year-old has played just 189 minutes of Premier League football this season and he was handed a rare start on Thursday, albeit he didn’t play too much of a role in any of his side’s three goals.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on his display via social media, and while one said “he makes me very sad”, another said he was still “the weakest on the pitch” even though a number of youngsters were blooded.
