da imperador bet: Aston Villa are yet to sign a central defender despite the recent speculation surrounding James Collins, Robert Huth and John Terry.
da doce: It seems likely that one of Collins, Huth or Terry will soon arrive at Villa Park, but if there was a match tomorrow then Mile Jedinak would again line up in central defence.
The Villa fans are patiently waiting for an announcement regarding a new defender, or indeed the sacking of head coach Steve Bruce.
And when the club tweeted Tammy Abraham’s shirt number for the season on Monday afternoon, the response section was full of frustrated fans.

Abraham was a popular addition during the summer, with the striker joining on loan from Chelsea.
However, it would be fair to say that the Villa fans are not too interested in what number he will wear next season, as they would rather see a new centre-back arrive.
