da bet vitoria: Celtic have had a difficult start to the season and netted just six goals in their six Scottish Premiership matches to date following the departure of Moussa Dembele on deadline day, and they should look to solve their goalscoring issues with a January move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente.
What’s the word, then?
Well, the Bhoys looked to be well-stocked in the centre-forward department going into the current campaign considering they had Dembele, Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths available, but the departure of the former to Lyon last month has left them in a little trouble.
Edouard is currently on a seven-match run without a goal, and Brendan Rodgers has been left to rely on Griffiths to get on the score-sheet, but the team has been far from prolific in the league which could ultimately cost them another title if their current form continues.
Why should they sign Llorente?
Spurs hoped that the Spaniard would be an able back-up to Harry Kane when he signed for them in the summer of 2017, but he has struggled despite an impressive campaign for Swansea City previously.
The 33-year-old has less than a year remaining on his contract and having only played 29 minutes of football this term – with 20 minutes of those coming in the Carabao Cup against Watford on Wednesday night – it seems apparent that he will be on his way either in the January transfer window or next summer.

While he has struggled for Tottenham, Llorente proved with 15 goals in 35 appearances for Swansea previously that he can be prolific in the right environment, and his strength in the air would also mean that he can be a huge threat for Celtic if they move for him in the New Year.
