His performances for the 2.Liga side during the first half of last season, during which he scored six goals and provided four assists, saw him recalled to Salzburg for the remainder of the campaign. At the higher level, he managed 20 appearances, five goals and six assists as the Austrian giants won both the country’s first division as well as the domestic cup.
So impressive were his displays, he even earned his first caps for Hungary towards the end of the previous campaign.
This is a player who clearly has a creative eye, and is dangerous going forward. Even at such a young age, he has achieved quite a lot, and it seems to be only a matter of time before he moves to one of Europe’s top leagues.
Against the Reds in European competition this week, he will be facing one of the best teams on the continent, and the current holders of the tournament no less.
So far this campaign, he has played predominantly on the left flank, scoring three goals and providing three assists. In Trent Alexander-Arnold, he will be facing one of the most in-form right-backs in football at the moment, but it will be a fantastic test of his ability.
Gunners fans should tune in to see a potential future signing in action.
